  • – DEM-AID project: own drug development against dementia (currently in preclinical phase)
  • – INNO-SLEEP Project: a medical device and a complex system development for the more accurate and precised diagnosis of different sleeping disorders

– BIOMARKER research: currently 11 academic research group working on different type of molecular biomarkers in multiple indications. Our research portfolio is opened for any new biomarkers and our research groups are open for any further academic or industry collaborations (further information about our research groups: https://fiek.elte.hu/en/content/research-groups.cl.212?m=1426 )

  • – LIPIDOMICS project: System Biology – the Possibility of Revolutionary Changes in the Fields of Diagnostics and Medicine. The development of such a healthcare diagnostic system based on the lipidomic approach, which has the capacity to replace the current clinical chemistry, histopathology and clinical microbiology tests operating separately, or it could serve as a ground for replacing these systems. The designed system shall make it possible to diagnose several diseases immediately, in one step as well as the prediction of different chronic diseases (such as the non-alcoholic steatosis) and the early identification of other diseases (such as ovarian cancer) before symptoms appear on the level of first-level patient care. In case of hospital treatment, besides the modalities above, the method to be developed shall make it possible to monitor the therapy, even is real time, and to optimize the therapy strategy not only for intervention but also for chemical therapies.

    – BIOBANKING: CRU developed a biobank network and in close collaboration with CRU clinics we can provide high-quality samples with full phenotype data for academic or industrial research programs
